With E-Rate season moving along and swiftly coming to a close, Extreme Networks has announced the unveiling of even more new E-Rate eligible solutions for K-12 schools and public libraries. The latest addition to the line-up includes the company’s exciting new Extreme Platform ONE™.
The E-Rate program gives K-12 schools and libraries in the U.S. funding to deploy networking solutions that help improve operations and deliver better experiences for both students and faculty.
At Extreme, we proudly stand at the corner of innovation and education. We’re working hard to offer solutions that will direct the next memorable educational experience or game-changing improvement for our nation’s public schools and libraries. Technology is more integral to classroom and educational success than ever before. But for small IT teams tasked with helping schools and libraries to find efficient ways to provide reliable, secure network access without compromising performance, this mission can be incredibly challenging.
That’s why Extreme seeks to empower educators with E-Rate-eligible solutions that provide the modern learning experience students need. We help educators do so while helping them seamlessly plan for future upgrades—without putting additional demands on staff or demanding more personnel.
“By helping our K-12 schools and publiclibrary customers navigate the E-Rate process, we can help them break down socioeconomic barriers so students and patrons can explore, collaborate and create a path forward based on the technology they need to succeed,” said Norman Rice, Chief Commercial Officer at Extreme Networks.
Here are some of the newest E-Rate Eligible solutions from Extreme, along with the key benefits that make them so powerful for public education and libraries:
Customer feedback from real-life public education and library settings across the U.S. is proof positive that Extreme Networks is defining what excellence in E-Rate means.
“It’s not just student devices, but teacher devices, smart displays and TVs, and applications all hitting the network,” said Christopher Escarsega, Network Administrator at Tornillo Independent School District in Texas. “We installed the Extreme APs...I did a speed test, and I was doubling or tripling what we were getting before. That’s going to make a difference; students will have better connectivity throughout the school.”
