Vatche Varvarian

Vatche Varvarian is one of the newest members of the OCTO Team – Office of the CTO at Extreme Networks. He is a technology leader with over 20 years of leadership experience in strategic product management, R&D, technology innovation and professional services. He has been on multiple international assignments, standing at the forefront of fast-moving technology trends; cloud, mobile technologies, AI/ML and blockchain.

His skills helped shape organizations in expanding existing lines of business, building high-performing teams, and launching new digital technology products.

One of his most recent achievements prior to joining Extreme Networks has been building a world class Solutions and Professional Services capability for one of the prominent AI startups in Montreal.

Vatche has a passion for driving innovation and his leadership style is built on three pillars: trust, dedication, and collaboration. He creates environments where people can grow, utilize their creativity, and are empowered to deliver business value.

Vatche holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University. He is a passionate reader, and believes in active living with cyclocross being his newly discovered passion in sports.
