Danny Seymour is a Content Producer on the Elevate Team in Extreme’s Product Organization and a native of Port Elgin, Ontario. He began working in tech by taking what most would consider to be an unconventional path. His first passion in life was figure skating. Danny represented Canada on the international stage as a competitive ice dancer for eight years and ended his skating career in 2016.
After retiring from competition, he moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he coached figure skating full-time and went to broadcasting school. He worked as a reporter and video journalist for Global News Okanagan during the summer of 2019 and covered a variety of stories from live breaking news to national news features.
After a brief stint as a journalist, he obtained his Bachelor of the Arts in Communications and Media Studies which led him to pursue a career opportunity as a Content Producer at Extreme.
Danny currently lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his dog Rosie.
