See Extreme Platform ONE™ in Action
Take a TourPicture this: The entire purpose of your company is to simplify, unify, automate, and protect networks. And when these networks connect humans, power businesses, and keep organizations online, secure, and operational, customer feedback is everything.
Given that this is our purpose, in 2025 Extreme Networks listened closely to customer feedback, ready to take notes and put into action the priorities we were hearing from IT leaders and network professionals. From beloved sports venues to grocery store chains, from Texas-sized school districts to rural universities and more, Extreme’s customers reflect myriad perspectives, challenges, and objectives.
But the common thread? Extreme customers will tell you what they think—without glossing things over. And in this case, we’re absolutely here for it. Here’s looking back on some of the most memorable sound bites, feedback, and outright exclamations from Extreme’s own amazing customers in 2025.
“Extreme Platform ONE is going to be a major game-changer for our organization. We’ve relied on Extreme Fabric for years, and now we can take automation to a new level across our hospital campuses. The visibility across our entire network and ability to truly leverage AI will enable us to improve not only our internal practices but also our services to patients.”
Davy Suffeleers, IT Domain Architect Network & UC, Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL), Belgium
“Extreme Platform ONE will provide visibility across our entire network. Integrated AI essentially adds a virtual IT team member. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting, and the ability to start your day by looking at a single dashboard, seeing any issues, and addressing them before they interrupt learning will be a huge benefit to my team.”
Michelle Okoro, Executive Director of Network & Support Services, Aldine ISD, Texas
...On Simplifying and Securing with Extreme Fabric
“Our lack of visibility into the devices on our network, and the amount of effort it took to provision new networks securely meant that devices were being added to the wrong VLANs...Moving to Fabric, we are now able to see and plan for the devices easily. Network provisioning is a breeze!”
Brandon Harris, Chief Technology Officer, City of Temple, TX
“With PCI in play, you have to layer on extensive security and strict requirements for handling and processing credit card data...with Extreme (Fabric) and segmenting public Wi-Fi, it makes our job a lot easier to keep everything nice and secure.”
Rory Arnold, Senior Manager of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure, Pro Football Hall of Fame
“Extreme Fabric has made network configuration much easier and has reduced troubleshooting time...[It has] enabled us to control every device on our network and automatically assign the correct working VLAN to each piece of equipment connected to our network. If the device isn't recognized, it gets put in a BYOD VLAN where they only get internet access. Since we are experiencing less downtime, it has greatly reduced the time necessary to keep the network operational.”
Jeff Tye, Network Engineer, Cedarville University
“We have faster response to a link failure [because of] Fabric, which has been great. We have been taking Fabric to the edge recently when updating our closets and off-site locations and we’ve had a lot of success with this.”
Jeff Thompson, Network Engineer, Memorial Health
...On Overcoming Their Network Challenges with Advanced Wi-Fi Technology
“It’s like night and day in terms of not having any (wireless) dead spots. We don’t have to account anymore for lost connections or deal with buffering or queuing a request if the network goes down. The shop floor now sees our Extreme Wi-Fi as being reliable, which allows our employees to be mobile and responsive in ways that positively impact production and operations.”
Eric Girard, IT and Automation Director, Locweld
“Every restaurant has different needs and layout challenges. Extreme’s wireless portfolio, predictive analytics and unified visibility helped us deploy APs more intelligently. Now we have stronger wireless signal strength where it matters most—and no accidental coverage outside the venue.”
Orlando Sprockel, Senior Director of IT, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants
“With Extreme Wi-Fi 7, Six Flags can connect more guests and devices across every corner of the park with faster, more consistent coverage. This enables a seamless digital experience for our guests using the mobile app for navigation, mobile food ordering, and digital ticketing.”
Ty Tastepe, Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
As 2025 rolls to a close, Extreme’s customers will continue to lean on us for clarity, support, AI networking innovation, and real-world problem-solving that makes their lives (and jobs!) easier. Some customers will need support navigating wireless connections in a “steel and concrete monster” like legendary Anfield Stadium of Liverpool Football Club fame. Some will be looking to unify, gain visibility, and support patient care across a network of treatment centers like California’s Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center.
Though time moves forward and network challenges will evolve, Extreme customers will always be the main character in our story. Happy New Year!
