Learning from the Best!

On Saturday, July 8th, Extreme and the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host a Legends for Youth baseball and softball clinic at Mount Rainier High School. The free clinic will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with an expected attendance of 150 Highline ISD students. The Legends for Youth clinics are conducted all over the world, with former MLB players providing instruction and inspiration to the athletes and leaders of the future.

Kari Escobedo, SVP of IT for the Seattle Mariners™, will join the camp as a softball instructor. Kari is an avid fan of the sport and played Division 1 softball at Cal State Fullerton.

An eSports Adventure

Also, on Saturday, Capital One PLAY BALL PARK™ opens at the Convention Center and T-Mobile Park™. For the third year in a row, Extreme will sponsor the MLB Arcade, where fans of all ages can play “MLB The Show” with their favorite current or legendary MLB players. This immersive fan experience will include both indoor and outdoor activities, with the MLB draft being the primary attraction.

The Other Games in the Line-Up

In addition to the MLB® All-Star Game™ presented by Mastercard, T-Mobile Park will also be hosting the SiriusXM All-Star Futures™ Game and All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented by Corona on Saturday.  Extreme will have an area set up in the right-center field on the concourse walkway where you can speak with our networking experts and grab a rally towel. Our Wi-Fi Coaches will also be on-site helping fans connect to the Extreme Wi-Fi and access the MLB Ballpark App.

Coming to a Ball Park Near You!

On Monday, July 10th, the Extreme NOW roadshow comes to Lumen Field. Extreme NOW events have been happening at ballparks all season long and will continue after the All-Star Break. At the Lumen Field event, attendees will join us in the Verizon Lounge and hear how Extreme customers are leveraging the network as a strategic asset, including talks from Chip Suttles and Kari Escobedo, IT executives from the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners. If you’ll be in Seattle, register for the event and spend the day at the ballpark with us. And if you’ll miss us in Seattle, learn how you can find an Extreme NOW show near you!

Power Beyond the Bleachers

Back at T-Mobile Park, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby® takes place on Monday evening as the best power hitters in baseball battle for the crown of T-Mobile Home Run Derby® Champion. Extreme Networks Wi-Fi Coaches will be present in the stadium with purple rally towels as baseballs fly into and over the sea of fans.

Empowering Transformation through Digital Leadership

To conclude MLB® All-Star Week™, on Tuesday, July 11th, Extreme will host a CIO Technology Summit where IT leaders from across major sports organizations and teams will gather to share industry trends and cover top-of-mind topics.

It’s Game-Time

MLB® All-Star Week™ comes to an end with the MLB® All-Star Game™ presented by Mastercard Tuesday night, which features the best players from the National League™ and American League™ facing off on one of the game’s biggest stages.
