Re-Igniting Extreme's Partner Program


As we kick off Extreme’s FY2024, we’re excited to announce the launch of the Extreme Partner Program with a new name: Extreme Ignite

The networking industry is constantly evolving, and with Extreme Ignite we are also evolving our partner program in a way that will enable both partners and distributors to be more successful and help end-user customers achieve their goals. As service-led models become more prevalent, Extreme Ignite will enable our partners to transform their own businesses, differentiate themselves in the marketplace and drive further growth and positive results for customers.

Enhancements to Extreme’s partner program are focused on the following four pillars:

1. Demonstrating Value

Extreme will introduce more resources, support, and specialized training for partners so they can more effectively communicate benefits and outcomes to customers.  

2. Showcasing Differentiation

The marketplace is crowded. Extreme Ignite will enable partners to better differentiate themselves for customers and show why they are the best choice based on industry experience and technical expertise.

3. Simplifying Sales Motions

Beyond previously introduced program enhancements including our partner self-service portal and Quick Quote tool, Extreme will continue to simplify its operational processes.

4. Accelerating Growth and Expanding Sales

All new program enhancements will serve partners in accelerating growth in new regions and markets, replicating previous success and driving net-new business.

New Program Incentives

Effective now, we’re introducing simplified rebates, training enhancements and program requirements, as well as a points-based incentive program. 

These include:

  • Rebates focused on growing existing business and net-new wins, with additional incentives for driving a higher subscription and service revenue mix.
  • New training programs, including solutions selling and solutions design training tracks available to partners at no cost.
  • The new Extreme Communities program, Ignite Rewards, which will include new enablement and incentive programs tailored to energize each region globally. 
  • Global specializations for industry-leading partners and distributors who are driving demand and transformation in their respective industries and GTM motions. These specializations will include new vertical badges at the partner level and new technical training certifications that can be earned at the individual level.

We’re excited about these enhancements and believe they will enable our partners to become more knowledgeable, successful and strategic when it comes to selling and deploying Extreme’s solutions.
