The concept of the Hero’s Journey, as first described by mythologist Joseph Campbell in his book “The Hero with a Thousand Faces” and refined by Christopher Vogler in his book “The Writer’s Journey,” has become one of the most valuable tools available to modern screenwriters. The Hero’s Journey is the inspiration for our view of the Solution’s Journey.

Most people start with a unique concept and build a solution around it. This process is called design thinking, and it is a common approach to product development. However, we at Extreme Networks think differently. We minimize the risk of product failure by validating user needs through an enhanced process called solution thinking.
