Extreme Networks Honored with Multiple Awards from Network Computing Magazine

We are thrilled to announce that Extreme Networks recently received multiple awards at the Network Computing Awards ceremony in London, further cementing our place as a leader in the IT and networking industry. At the ceremony Network Computing Magazine recognized companies leading the way in strategic and innovative network management across technical categories, including networks, hardware, software and data.Each year, winners are selected based on votes from the magazine’s readers who feel a company’s solutions and products are at the forefront of technology.

Our team took home three award wins and three honorable mentions, which is a huge testament to the work we’re doing to provide innovative and seamless customer experiences globally.

Of note, Extreme received the “Company of the Year” award for 2017, edging out Dell for the top spot. This is exciting news for us because we’ve taken considerable steps to strengthen our position as the only pure-play end-to-end, wired and wireless enterprise networking company. Over the past year, we’ve successfully purchased Zebra's wireless LAN business, and entered into agreements to acquire Brocade’s data center business and Avaya’s networking business, all of which will result in a state-of-the-art, newly-refreshed portfolio of enterprise solutions for our customers. Earning this award supports our strategy to broaden our enterprise capabilities with solutions that complement our product portfolio across our vertical markets.
