Multi-Rate Options from ExtremeSwitching
From Edge to Core, the Foundation of a Next-gen Network
IEEE 802.3bz and NBASE-T are recent standards that define new multi-gigabit access rates (2.5 and 5 Gb) that can run across traditional Ethernet twisted-pair wiring infrastructure. These new standards allow the majority of existing cable installations to deliver higher bandwidth connectivity, distribute PoE power to connected devices, and future-proof the wired infrastructure for next-generation 802.11ac applications.
The X460G2 Series are versatile edge and aggregation switches that provide 1 Gigabit access, along with 10Gb uplink option. A new 48-port model now introduces 2.5 Gb data rates on up to 16 ports. All ports are 30W PoE+ capable and the switch includes 4 x 10 Gb uplinks and the ability to stack with other EXOS-family switches.
The ExtremeSwitching X620 is a family of compact 1RU high Ethernet switches designed for 10GB edge applications. A new X620 Series 10Gb switching line introduces 2.5 Gb and 5 Gb data rates options on up to 12 ports. The new switch also introduces 60w PoE++ on up to 8 ports, along with 30W PoE+ support on remaining ports.
The ExtremeSwitching X870 Series are high-density, purpose-built 100Gb switches designed for high-performance enterprise and cloud data centers. With 32 QSFP28 ports, the X870 supports a wide range of interface speeds, including 10Gb, 25Gb, 40Gb, 50Gb and 100Gb, all in a compact 1RU form factor.
