Fabric Advanced Configuration
Join us for an engaging, fast-paced workshop where you'll dive into essential hands-on exercises that provide you with the expertise to work with Extreme Fabric. You'll learn how to expand the campus configuration by implementing Fabric Extend including Fabric over SD-WAN. Discover how multi-area SPBM is used to optimize routing into the Fabric. Redistributing routes from outside protocol into IS-IS is practiced with route policies.
Upon completion of this workshop, you’ll have the working knowledge to:
  • Implement a multi-area SPBM network with Extreme
  • Understand how to expand the campus configuration by implementing Fabric Extend and Fabric over SD-WAN

Switching Advanced Configuration

You’ll learn how to improve the network by implementing security measures such as Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting, ONEPolicy, and Access Control Lists. Prepare to discover how CLI and Python scripting are used to optimize and automate actions.
Upon completion of this workshop, you’ll have the working knowledge to:
  • Implement security mechanisms such as ONEPolicy or ACLs in Switch Engine devices
  • Automate, integrate, and enhance Switch Engine capabilities with features such as Fabric Attach, CLI scripting, and Python scripting

ExtremeWireless Cloud Advanced Configuration
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to implement, optimize, and manage services related to wireless networks hosted by ExtremeCloud IQ access points. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll become familiar with the key concepts of working with ExtremeCloud IQ. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have working knowledge of:

Switching and Routing Best Practices
(CERTIFICATION)
This workshop covers best practices for implementing Extreme switching and routing, focusing on designing and implementing Switch Engine and ExtremeXOS in common scenarios. A campus architecture model is presented that will aid in getting the most of Switch Engine features. The course presents a systematic approach to building an enterprise network using the best practice for each essential protocol and its parameters. You’ll learn the best practice for using automation features including zero touch provisioning (ZTP+) to save time onboarding and maintaining devices.

Fabric Troubleshooting

Learn proper operation and ways to determine misconfiguration, identify problems at network Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3, and discuss how to troubleshoot fabric service issues.
