R. “Ray” Wang

Ray-WangR “Ray” Wang is the Principal Analyst, Founder, and Chairman of Silicon Valley based Constellation Research, Inc. He’s also the author of the popular business strategy and technology blog “A Software Insider’s Point of View”. With viewership in the 10’s of millions of page views a year, his blog provides insight into how disruptive technologies and new business models such as digital transformation impact brands, enterprises, and organizations. Wang has held executive roles in product, marketing, strategy, and consulting at companies such as Forrester Research, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

His new best selling book Disrupting Digital Business, published by Harvard Business Review Press and now globally available provides insights on why 52% of the Fortune 500 have been merged, acquired, gone bankrupt, or fallen off the list since 2000. In fact, this impact of digital disruption is real. However, it’s not the technologies that drive this change. It’s a shift in how new business models are created.

Wang has held executive roles in product, marketing, strategy, and consulting at companies such as Forrester Research, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Personify, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Wayne Wichlacz

Information Technology Director, Green Bay Packers

Wayne-WachlaczWayne was hired as the first full-time technology professional for the Green Bay Packers in April of 1993 and has over 30 years in the Information Technology industry. Wayne guided historic Lambeau Field renovations over the past 2 years that included stadium-wide Wi-Fi and DAS systems and upgraded business entities (1919 Kitchen & Tap restaurant, Packers Hall of Fame renovation, and Packers Pro Shop retail store). Wayne led technology efforts in the 2011-2013 Lambeau Field Renovation which included new South End Zone general and premium areas and viewing decks along with a distributed sound system, HD scoreboard and concession POS systems. Wayne also guided planning and technology efforts for the 2003 Lambeau Field Renovation. Wayne leads an IT Team of 10 people working to support the entire organization (football and business teams) and provide new technologies that drive new business opportunities and operational efficiencies. Wayne is responsible for all technology within Lambeau Field and its buildings and fields.

Wayne is a Two Rivers, Wisconsin native and a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Computer Science. Prior to the Packers, Wayne worked for Telefile Computer Products in Irvine, California and then spent 8 years with McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, California in the Flight Test department as a systems programmer.

Wayne and his wife, Jolene, have been married for 28 years and have four adult children, Stephanie (25), Alison (23), David (21), and Michael (18). Wayne enjoys reading, golf, hiking, and local running events (including 5 marathons).

Ian Woolner

Senior Product Marketing Manager (UK), Skype for Business

Ian-WoolnerIan Woolner is the UK Product Marketing Manager aligned to Skype for Business at Microsoft. After gaining a Diploma in Electronic Engineering Ian started as a telephony engineer for Telephone Rentals. His 25-year career spans telephony, IP Telephony and Unified Communications. His experience includes working for a number of UK and Global vendors, UK Resellers as well as three start-ups. His passion is to work with customers and partners helping them understand the value of agile technology that delivers real business value in a climate that stands still for no one.

Dor Zakai

Director EUC EMEA Sales Engineering, VMware AirWatch

Dor-ZakaiDor Zakai is the Director Of EUC SEs, In his role, Zakai is responsible for all technical pre-sales activity for AirWatch within the EMEA region. Zakai’s team of mobility experts engage with prospects and partners to drive thought leadership and push the boundaries of mobile technologies. Living on the leading edge of mobility and product development, he and his SEs inject technical expertise and consulting from early-stage demonstrations and requirements gathering, all the way through to successful proof of concept.

Prior to his role at AirWatch, Zakai worked as the CTO for Mobisec Technologies, an Israeli based company with a deep knowledge in Enterprise Mobility, Security, Cloud and Internet of Things (IoT). Alongside these activities in the field of mobility and security, Zakai was a Microsoft Regional Specialist for Enterprise Mobility in the Middle East.

Ed Meyercord

President & CEO, Extreme Networks

Ed-MeyercordMr. Meyercord serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Extreme. He joined our Board of Directors as an independent director in October 2009 and served as Chairman from March 2011 through August 2015. Prior to assuming an operating role at Extreme, Mr. Meyercord was Chief Executive Officer and Director at Critical Alert Systems, LLC, a software-driven, healthcare information technology company, that he co-founded in July of 2010. Previously,, Mr. Meyercord served as CEO, President and Director of both Cavalier Telephone & TV, a privately held voice, video and data services company with an extensive fiber network; and Talk America, Inc., a publicly traded company that provided phone and internet services to consumers and small businesses throughout the U.S. Mr. Meyercord was also a Vice President in the investment banking division of Salomon Brothers (now Citigroup). He previously served on the board of Tollgrade Communications, Inc.


Director of Healthcare Solutions, Extreme Networks

Bob-ZemkeBob Zemke is the Director of Healthcare Solutions for Extreme Networks, responsible for healthcare solutions strategy and consulting. He is an active member of the Wi-Fi Alliance Healthcare Task Group and the AAMI Wireless Strategy Task Forces and is also involved with prominent organizations such as HIMSS and IEEE. Additionally, Bob is a co-author of the book entitled “Wi-Fi Enabled Healthcare,” about the importance of Wi-Fi in transforming clinical work flows and enhancing mobile devices in a hospital environment. A seasoned IT professional with a broad range of experience in healthcare, Bob has been featured in publications such as Modern Healthcare, Healthcare Design Magazine, Mobile Wireless Magazine and Healthcare Executive Exchange. Prior to joining Extreme Networks, Bob worked for Henry Ford Health System and then Siemens, where he was a consultant in next generation network design, deployment and management. Bob obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications Management from Western Michigan University and Master of Science in Telecommunications & Network Management from Syracuse University’s iSchool.

Prior to joining Extreme John was Vice President leading Huawei UK Enterprise, John joined Huawei following a careers at Cisco and Nortel where he held a number of roles including Operations lead for Cisco’s SP business in EMEA, Global Account Director Cable and Wireless and European sales director for Nortel’s Global Professional services business.

Alex-SwanWith over 15 years experience within the government, defense and healthcare verticals and Alex brings a wealth of knowledge to the Extreme Networks Healthcare team. Alex has been responsible building the Extreme Networks healthcare architecture for the UK market. Key values delivered by this architecture include simplifying complicated clinical network infrastructure and automating provision of key services across that infrastructure. More recently Alex has been a key member of the team leveraging software services automation to deliver improved patient experience.

Kai Gutzeit

Regional Director, Western EMEA, Extreme Networks

Kai-GutzeitKai Gutzeit started his career at OKI Electric in Tokyo, Japan, where he worked in the Overseas Sales & Marketing division. He spent the next 12 years in leading marketing positions at various IT companies involved in the areas of microelectronics, telecommunications infrastructure and network solutions. After three years at Radware as Regional Sales Manager for Germany he then became Regional Sales Director for Central Europe at Postini with responsibility for sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Gutzeit expanded business activities in this region as Head of Technical Support and Sales since April 2006. He became Head of Google Enterprise for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Google Germany at the beginning of 2008, and later took on the Nordics region in 2009 as well.

In 2011 Kai Gutzeit was hired by VCE as the Managing Director for the DACH Region.

October 2012 Kai Gutzeit joined Extreme Networks, first as Regional Director for the DACH Region. Spending one and a half years as the EMEA Senior Director Channels & Partners and since July 2015 responsible for Sales in the Western EMEA Region.
