Extreme Networks Helps Inspire and Inform the IT Community at Interop Las Vegas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for the IT community – Interop Las Vegas! Interop is nearing its 30 year anniversary, and this year’s conference promises to be the best one yet. With nearly 100 sessions to choose from and more than 350 vendors on the expo floor, Interop targets a diverse set of technology professionals and covers a wide array of topics ranging from infrastructure to security, cloud computing, mobility and virtualization.

The Extreme team will be heading to Las Vegas to participate in this year’s conference, and we have exciting activities planned for booth 1351. We’ll be hosting a number of hands-on demonstrations focused on trends in SDN, data centers and high performance wireless, among others. The full list of demonstrations includes:

  • SDN and Skype for Business
  • 11ac and BYOD and Guest Onboarding
  • Intelligent High Performance Data Center
  • OpenDaylight Based SDN Platform
  • Network and Application Analytics
  • Security Event Monitoring

Additionally, with SDN continuing to emerge from the hype cycle as a tool that the enterprise can finally implement and leverage to have a real impact, we’ll be hosting our valued partners in the SDN Partner Pavilion, including:

  • Fortinet, which integrates with Extreme Networks OneFabric Connect to deliver more accurate security policy enforcement, mitigation of internal threats and real-time end-system status to Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Nexthink, which demonstrates the industry’s first network and end-user IT analytics integration with Purview™, correlates network data with end-users, endpoints, applications and more. The integration provides a comprehensive real-time view of the IT infrastructure, which enables IT to resolve issues faster and improve security compliance and threat detection.
  • A10 Networks, which integrates with Extreme Networks OneFabric Connect to provide better protected server activity and block suspicious traffic within the network without affecting other servers.
  • SGI, which will demonstrate industry-leading Hadoop high-performance computing (HPC) solutions that integrate with Extreme Networks high performance Ethernet switching.

In addition to the Extreme team and our valued partners, we’ll also have a special guest from the NFL in the Extreme booth who knows the importance of simple, smart and fast connectivity on and off the field. Stay tuned for more updates on the announcements and activity we have planned at the show!
