Engineering Director of Extreme’s portfolio in support of Federal, Service Provider and OEM lines of business, Judson Walker, Jr. is responsible for the worldwide management of strategic technical initiatives for the aforementioned verticals including network design, deployment and technical converge throughout the entire sales cycle. His primary technical focus is on cyber security and software driven networking and the application of these technologies pertaining to 21st century data center modernization efforts.
Walker, Jr. has worked in the IT industry for more than 20 years supporting all aspects of public and private sector at the programmatic and territorial sales and system engineering levels. He has taken over a worldwide position with Extreme Networks after the acquisition of Brocade Communications in Oct 2017. Over the past 12 years at Brocade Judson had a key role in supporting programs within both the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. He also engaged with global internet exchanges, tier 1 providers and higher education customers to empower IT to be a major factor in delivering greater business outcomes.
Walker, Jr. has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University and spends free time focusd on youth empowerment through mentorship and youth basketball.
