We are proud to announce that Extreme Networks VP of Global Channels, Theresa Caragol, was selected by CRN Magazine as a 2012 “Power 100” Woman of the Channel.
The Power 100 is an elite subset of the annual Women of the Channel list, and is awarded to the highest ranking women holding the most prominent channel-focused positions in a vendor or solution provider organization.
Theresa believes in leading by example, and since joining Extreme in April 2012, she has put that philosophy into practice each and every day.
Her focus is on the pursuit of new partnerships, and delivering additional value to Extreme Networks existing partners. With this latest recognition from CRN (Theresa is no stranger to the Women of the Channel list), we thought we’d take the opportunity offer a little more insight into this channel power player.
Theresa has over 17 years of experience at organizations including Nortel and Ciena, and she continues to aspire to greater heights.Throughout her career, Theresa has always felt strongly about being a mentor and leader for other women in technology. She works with The Leadership Foundry, created by Women in Technology (WIT) to assist more women to serve on corporate boards in the Washington, D.C. area. She is also involved with Friends of Guest House, which offers structure, supervision, support and assistance to women and their families who sincerely want to improve their lives and break the cycle of incarceration. Services are provided to the women to help them live productive lives in the community and return to work. In her professional career she mentors other young women, encouraging them to build an area of expertise and be the very best and smartest in that area.
This year’s Power 100 Women of the Channel were selected by the editors of CRN Magazine from a field of applications and nominations from vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.
