K-12 School Centrally Manages Campus Network and Implements BYOD

Simplified deployment and management of wired/wireless network for limited staff.

With a network team of seven working to maintain a 25,000-square-mile campus comprising 44 sites, the Mat-Su School District in Alaska sought a networking solution that would be simple to deploy and mitigate risks associated with BYOD.

With the small IT staff struggling to manage the large, geographically distributed school district and the challenge of implementing an infrastructure to support Bring Your own Device (BYOD) capabilities, the solution not only enhanced the student learning experience, but also created a simple management framework while keeping costs to a minimum.
