With a network team of seven working to maintain a 25,000-square-mile campus composed of 44 sites, the Mat-Su School District in Alaska sought a networking solution that would be simple to deploy and mitigate risks associated with Bring Your own Device (BYOD).

With the small IT staff struggling to manage the large, geographically distributed school district and the challenge of implementing an infrastructure to support BYOD capabilities, the solution not only enhanced the student learning experience, but also created a simple management framework while keeping costs to a minimum.
